Powder Camps
At NomaDice, we offer bespoke coaching for individuals eager to master their powder turns, whether on open powder fields or slicing and dicing through the trees. Our camps use creative development techniques and the diverse terrain here in the region to enable you to find your own confidence in the powder. Come and join one of our small groups and lets see if we can perfect those turns you've always seen in the videos, and soon you'll discover your Japow flow state floating through the bottomless pow.
Combo Pow & Split Camp
Come and experience a full week of getting amongst it. Combine both a powder camp and splitboard workshop and fill your cup with all access powder riding.
Multi Day Powder Camps
Come join like minded snowboarders looking to turn and burn through the powder. Fed up of sinking or not keeping your flow when the powder gets deep, come and learn some of the tools that make life so much easier when the powder gets deep.
Private Coaching

Powder/Split Camp - 5 Days Five days dedicated to mastering all aspects of powder riding. This includes expert powder coaching, discovering tree run secrets in Rusutsu, navigating the Niseko gates system, and acquiring essential skills in splitboarding and backcountry touring. In just 5 days this makes for an extraordinary trip that will undoubtedly leave you thrilled to be alive and riding powder snow here in Japan.

Enhance Your Powder Riding Experience! 3 Days To Ride Your Legs Off

This camp has 3 days creative coaching, offering a perfect mix of guidance and riding time. We aim to assist those who can ride to find a more fluid riding style through the deep snow of Hokkaido. The itinerary includes exploring inbounds powder spots, tree runs, and utilising gate-accessed powder routes in Niseko. Throughout the week, we will be riding both Niseko and Rusutsu, seeking out the best locations and implementing new techniques to make powder riding feel effortless. We will incorporate video analysis to enhance your understanding and to observe how you can interact with the terrain you wish to master.
These camps are setup to leave you riding powder better than you have before. This isn't technical perfection rather the opposite its learning what movements we use to keep the flow going. Riding trees and powder sometimes its about momentum, maintaining float and keeping our line in check. This will be a camp to remember, if you think 3 days is too short then we will run a 2 day splitboard workshop straight afterwards so could be the best way to keep the stoke flowing.

Camp Info
3 or 5 day camp
Every day of this camp will offer a unique experience. To start, we will focus on sidecountry and some gate-accessed backcountry to enhance your powder riding skills. By the end of the week, we will head out to explore on our splitboards.
Accommodation pick up
For these trips we can pick you up and travel to where is best, searching out the best conditions on offer.
1-4 people
We limit the group size to a max of 4 people. This helps us move a good pace and keep everyone safe whilst in the backcountry. If you have a bigger group we can have two guides.
Avi equipment
You will need to either rent or provide your own avi equipment. We have avi packs that have all the equipment you will need for heading into the backcountry. These can be rented direct from us.
Splitboarding equipment
Participants should bring their own split boarding gear or can rent equipment locally. A gear list of requirements will be provided upon registration.
Accommodation
Participants are responsible for securing their accommodation. Daily transport will be provided for the selected location.
