Hokkaido's best kept secret. Quieter, wilder, and home to some of the finest tree terrain in Japan. Rusutsu clinics are specialist sessions for riders who are already comfortable on the mountain and want to go further — into tighter lines, deeper powder, and more precise technique.

Pow Surf & Performance Carving
Looking to perfect the technical side of snowboarding and ride effortlessly through powder and groomed terrain. These clinics allow you understand the art and aim to help you master pure carving.
Powder Lines and Tree Riding
For some riding in the trees and deep powder is still a fine balance of pleasure and pain. For others you've got past that point and are cruising effortlessly. These clinics help build confidence where needed and show you how to go up a gear once you do.
1-6 Persons
You can book this workshop just for yourself or bring your partner or friends. The focus is aimed at your level of riding and what you hope to achieve. We balance the coaching and riding accordingly.
Pick up and drop off
We can pick you up from your accommodation and drop you back after the session.

This includes 2 days of coaching, transport to and from resort/accommodation. If you have a full group it's less than 25,000 a day per person per day.

Line Finder
Intermediate tree riding
The trees are calling — but maybe they feel a little too close together, a little too fast, a little too committing. This clinic is for riders who want to get amongst them properly, with the coaching to do it confidently. Over two days we'll work on reading lines, managing speed, and building the spatial awareness that makes tree riding feel open rather than tight.
Days 1–2: Rusutsu's tree terrain, progressing from open glades into tighter lines as confidence builds.
Smooth Operator
Intermediate powder surfing & performance carving
Turns that link themselves — that's the goal. Whether you're chasing smooth lines in the powder or carving up the groomers, this clinic is about finding your flow state and staying in it. We'll work on the technique that removes the effort from your riding and replaces it with rhythm, so the mountain starts to feel like it's doing the work.
Days 1–2: Piste and powder terrain chosen to match conditions and your progression.
Thread the Needle
Advanced tree riding clinic
You can ride trees — but you want to ride them without stopping, without hesitating, without that moment of doubt before you take that right or left around a tree. This clinic is about flow, through tight tree lines at speed. Whether you're an instructor working on your high end riding or a rider wanting to sharpen your game, we'll break down how to pick your line before you need it, adapt as the gaps change, and keep momentum as the terrain closes in.
Days 1–2: Progressive tree terrain at Rusutsu, pushing into tighter and faster lines each session.
Locked In
Advanced powder surfing & performance carving
You can carve — you leave pencil lines in the snow and you know when a good turn feels good. But something isn't quite holding up. The line gets wobbly, the edge washes out, or it all falls apart the moment conditions change. This clinic gets into the detail: the fine adjustments in weight, timing, and body position that separate a good carve from a locked-in one, whether you're digging trenches in powder or threading rail on hard pack.

Nightlines - Niseko 2 Hrs Night Session
If you haven't ridden at night then this is the place to do it. Niseko puts the floodlights on at night and the place goes off. Less people and better vision its odd how riding powder at night can feel easier. Pretty magical memories created at night just like you are in your own black and white movie.
